Old school scramble track, with 1 bombhole jump exit and a couple of
small single jumps, the rest is up and down hills and fast...
Qualifying: Took the might of the chicken chaser and
after having 3 top 10 finishes in the last round at wrangway was hoping
to carry that on...
Left the start near the back as they watered the track and twas a tad
slippy, 1st lap just checked out the track and 2nd lap was looking for
lines, half way through 2nd lap an out of control Gooner decided he
would try and pass on the thinest part of the track round the corner on
my outside and whilst trying to pass took my bars with him, which sent
me smack to the floor and skidding on my belly about 20 yards. I was
slightly concerend as i landed with my wrist under my arm .... but all
was good. I got up looked at the marshall and saw his lips say what a
Cnut. I asked if he got his # but no avail so i had to wait for him to
come round again
Never saw him and didnt manage to get a flying lap in and qualified 27th.
As we pulled in the pits the fella stopped my and apologised to which i called him some humourous foul names and off he went.
Race 1: Out o nthe chicken chaser, bad start followed by
blocked on the 3rd corner, i had to brake and near enough stop...
Pulled through alot of the pack only to flag in the last 5 mins and was
taken by loads of fo fiddies, blocking and riding to cut out more
passing I ended up 19th.
Race 2: Team ACM Boss had an off course too in qualifying which ended up with a bruised shoulder so he said take out the RMZ250....
Gate dropped was in top 10 was holding tight and went down the hill to
the rutted hollow and a lump caught my foot which twiated my whole body
and spat me right off the bike... Looking up at the marshall he was sat
looking the other way, and i spent the next few minutes dodging bikes
who couldnt see i was laying down the bottom of the hill. Eventually
after some hand jestures to the marshall i got his attention and he put
his flag out..
Next lap i pulled in at his station and give him a right mouthfull
telling him he is supposed to watch down the hill and not the racing
behind him.... only to notice he was sat with his fkn IPOD on
Finished 22nd and slightly battered.
Race 3: Down on the line 15 second board up and the Team ACM RMZ was spluttering and popping gate dropped and the bike died
. Oh Shiz
Looking down some tosser had turned off the fuel.. ( Not me ) I reckon
Geez ::. sorted that and off i went in last place, 2 laps in red flags
waving someone had bailed out of the bombhole ......Restart
Race 3.2: Gate dropped round the corner in 4th, this was
more like it, pushed hard but not hard enough as i was passed by 3
within the 1st lap, then Geez showed me his wheel and the fight was on,
he passed me I passed him, this went on for 5 laps, speeds were getting
quicker and there was some bar bashing on a couple of the corners, In
my mind i knew this was going to end in a bad way...
After taking me out in round 1 at little silver after a similar race
.... it happened, I passed the Geez along the back straight but he
twisted the throttle to beat me to the corner and slightly over cooked
it forcing him right to the bank, unfortunatley i was taking the same
line and it ended in me running straight through him and both of us
tumbling down the hill in a heap...
Marshalls came running like we were in trouble, both winded Geez
shouted am i ok, to which i replied Yes you twat... and in return he
shouted fkn glad you are... i could see him holding his shoulder
too...He managed to get up before me, we both bumped the bikes down the
rest of the hill, his bike all twisted and my front end pointing south,
i passed him and took a win from him... after all to beat your mate is
the aim of the game init...
However i still think it was his fault for over cooking the corner... unlucky fella..
Appologies to Team ACM Boss Alan Cheesman for dumping the ACM RMZ250 twice today...
Good news i still lived to ride another day, with no injuries, but i will be stiff i nthe morning
