Forum member Jackson Evans put up a creditable second race 12th in Mx2 in front of the likes of Mel Pocock, Scott Elderfield and David Goosen

Dougan's opening race had a lot of people talking, he rode his own race not looking back but unfortunatly didnt back it up in race 2 and 3.

Ross Hill's first outting ended after just 2 laps but he came back with 2 strong rides just missing out on the points on each occasion.

I didnt get a chance to catch up with Jim Davies but gone is the trade mark one twenty five and he's out playing hardball with the big boys now.

Whilst there was a lot of pre-race forum hype on how well Shaun Simpson would do in the MX1 class, his race speed didnt impress many, but when all's said and done he walked away on top of the pile with a trio of runner up spots and a 3 point lead, now theres a possibility LS Motors Honda may want him to contest the complete domestic series after they tasted the sweet flavour of success.... watch this space

LONE RIDER - Alfie Smith leaps over the step down on route to one of his point scoring rides to secure 18th overall for Aprllia.

Not taking home any points on the privateer entry, Tony Cuddy was easily spotted in his Troy Lee Designs regalia.... someone needs their sponsers logo on that shirt surely.

Not being argumentative and don't want to stir things up but, Shaun isn't listed on the Riders list on the Maxxis Website.
Just cos he's rides for a G.P team shouldn't give him automatic entry to the other races.
If I was the ACU I'd say 2 Wild Card Entries Tops per Season.

I guess its all about the money at the end of the day, while someone may not get a place on the start line riders of Simpson's standing are going to draw bigger crowds, definatly not fair on those who have paid the registration fee's, but having said that I dont know if they had a full line up anyway

I had Graeme Irwin down as making an impression this year after seeing his form improve dramatically over the last season, HM Plant Red Bull KTM bosses obviously thought the same and after pulling out 3 top ten finishes Sunday their faith in him must be high...

Forum member and trackday participant Ross Flashman netted points in the opening encounter aboard the Flashman mc's Honda.

One of the unknown factors in this years championship, New Zealand Dirt Bike Gym entry, Kieran Scheele managed to score points in the last MX1 race securing 2oth overall.

Forum member Bengt Husky aboard a very trick looking old skool 500 YZM replica had a first race DNF for some reason.

Richard Brown went 9-8 improving on his 12th place qualification to go 9th overall in the vets.
