What clubs did you ride at in your schoolboy days?

I rode with 3 main clubs, starting off with Portsmouth and Border then joined Salisbury when that started.. think only Pompey club is remaining out of those 3

Did a few Vale of the White Horse and Ringwood as well.

Me and Eddie the Eagle rode with Horsham SSC which was our home club. We then used to do most of the Kent or Pompey meetings with a few Ringwood chucked in for goo measure.

.....I should have read the topic title first athough i did help out a friend (Schoolboy Racer) in the old Reading Motocross club at such classic places like Turners Court, Hinksey Hill, Benham Park..etc...so does that count..??..

Only did 2 schoolboy races nd they were both with the Norfolk & Suffolk JMCC.

I was a big lad (nearly 6ft at 12 ) and the old chap didnt want to race schoolboys really, so we sold my then trick RM80 and went straight to a CR 250

I started out with Corsham , also rode a few with Southwest Schoolboys and joined Moredon when they first started .

I rode Corsham and Severn Valley and also Moredon as i got older! The good old days!!

PSSC from 74 to 80
plus the odd border meet.

Yeah had many a battle with Paul, got a pic somewhere with him breathing down my neck, litterally... I was on an 80cc Honda that Don Schmidt had given to me to ride with a few mods and he towered above me on the yz125.

From 79 to 87 i think. I was in the same group as Rich Cuff and Barry Holley.

From 79 to 87 i think. I was in the same group as Rich Cuff and Barry Holley.

After my time , I was there from 74 to 76 and I turned adult in mid 76

38 but thanks anyway my dad was on the commitee and remember going to tidworth setting up track then getting bikes out with wayne woods while his dad timed us to see how long track would take, looking back i should of took advantage of that practice lol

yes heard about andy, very sad but hes coping with his disability well i hear.havent seen wayne for many years i thought he was gonna get into football as he was pretty good.whats your name me (shaun king) or my brother mark must of raced with you ?
