A sunny day welcomed riders and spectators alike to the Wiltshire venue. Well watered before the start left some riders flailing in the mud, but as always with the chalky soil it dried very quickly to leave conditions perfect for racing.
Ollie Mayhew set the pace in the opening 2 stroke race and seemed to be untouchable after friend and team mate Paul Dunford made a mistake leaving Ollie a comfortable winner.
The vets race was totally dominated by Tony Tunnell in only his second ride of the season, will there be anyone to challange him this season...
look out Tony.. i'm tempted..
The main race of the day was taken by the rodent Lee 'Rat' Foyle aboard his Suzuki, only headed briefly out of the blocks all day.
Headline news of the day was made on the first lap of the first group of practice by the man they call the 'Spacka' Paul Spacnalia carted off in the ambulance,
before even completing one lap, with another dislocated shoulder.
