| Literally just to get something happening over here I want to arrange for a group to come over and ride the tracks we have here and in Spain.
Tried last year but it failed dispite 30 poeple saying yeah yeah we had no takers because the cost was £1100 each. Thats your bike and kit transported to and from the Algarve, transport to and from tha tracks, flights, digs, food and private tuition.
Pretty much everything was covered but it was too much dough.
I am going to try again this winter but we have to work out a cheaper solution

Glad you said that because I should put more effort in and get video of the tracks. Because this non-profit and only for the crack I did only the minimum like arrange transport, digs etc. I didn't think that I had to sell it but now I know it has to be presented properly. Watch this space. P.S. Did tell you that I bumped into Smets here, Twice ! In january testing. Its good enough for him !?! Oh and this track is not far from my house. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0DnqNEkvIQ&feature=related

Oh and this track is not far from my house. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0DnqNEkvIQ&feature=related I only just noticed the link for the track, looks well smart... shame we seem to have lost Monda. Be good to see some more details... I am back after a long summer not working and spending days on the beach with the kids. Our internet connection was the pits because the heat melted the phone line ! Now have a new one and after riding a Farliegh and the temperature here has now dropped to under 30º I am back riding again soon. Was parked next to Nellie at Farleigh and he said he was just here in the Algarve and bought a place he loved it so much. I will try and nab him for some training days. Got to get the video camera working to show some tracks. Better still a helmet cam. I will work on it.

Stu I haven't forgotten you and how you helped me. None of us bought new bikes as work dried up here but we still need your skills. Stay in touch.

Yes it is very dry now. Its not rained properly for months but the winter is great, a bit wetter but still warm. We can get 20º in January which is why I am letting you guys know about it. The track is fast but it has cambers, remember them ? and some tight bends as well as some very safe jumps. It is exclusive to a few and the owner is a MX fanatic.

No that was a 1.5 hour H&H and part of it was on dirt roads which are compacted with stone. The new track is slate so only thin stones and for us its a good surface.

Strange really because its a poor country. I want to get some sent over but it comes down to cash and work has dropped off alot here.

| UPDATE. Fly ride scheme, you send a bike, cost £200 from Basildon or Andover, I pick it up and store it, you can tape the kit and some spares on it. Then you can come any time you want, digs are 25 euros a night inc breakfast down the road from my house. You can ride from my place into a few million hectares or pound out laps at a nearby track. I have 3 bikes here now from Jon Rutherford, Martin Harris and Stu Holland. | |
